Will You Inject Yourself with an Ancient Bacteria for Longer Life ? - Science Feed

Hii, This is Science Feed.

In 2009, 3.5 million years old bacteria was found in the permafrost region on Mammoth Mountain in Siberia's Yakutsk Region. The bacteria was named 'Bacillus F' which was found by the Russian Scientist named Anatoli Brouchkov, head of the Geocryology Department at Moscow State University.
After numbers of experiments, it was found that those mice which were injected with these bacterias have far better strength and immune system than normal mice. Each time the experiment was done, the results were the same.

The bacteria Bacillus F, found in permafrost, is thought to be 3.5 million years old. - DailyMail

Curiously, One day Dr. Brouchkov injected himself with these 3.5 million old bacteria without knowing what would happen to his body. The problem was that scientists didn't know how the bacteria increase life span in mice. And about humans, not even a penny !!! He became the first guinea pig for the experiment

In a statement, Dr. Brouchkov said that since the day he injected himself with, he felt more energetic and healthier. He even said that he didn't get sick for two years.
'After successful experiments on mice and fruit flies, I thought it would be interesting to try the inactivated bacterial culture.'

'The permafrost is thawing, and I guess these bacteria get into the environment, into the water, so the local population, the Yakut people, in fact, for a long time are getting these cells with water, and even seems to live longer than some other nations. So there was no danger for me.'

According to studies, Bacillus F uses an unknown mechanism that made it able to survive in the worst conditions in the Siberian range. Dr. Brouchkov strongly believes that this bacteria may become the best contender for the prolonged lives of humans.

After this incident, another event occurs.
On 22 July 2017,  a German actress also injected herself after spending 37,000 pounds. The samples of bacterias were given by Anatoli Brouchkov. In order to not lose the license, doctors rejected to inject the samples in her bloodstreams. She injected herself under the support of a local doctor in case of a medical emergency.

There is a lot of researches going on controlling the aging of the organism. But, we don't know how the future will look like.

Falcon 9 (SpaceX) - Science Feed

Hey, this is Science Feed, and this post is about Falcon 9, one of the most advanced rockets in the world. SpaceX has designed and developed it for payload transfer to Earth orbit and space. Over the time period of 10 years, Falcon 9 has been launched 85 times, in which 46 launches were able to land. Due to its capability of landing, SpaceX has saved costly parts of the rocket. This rocket uses rocket grade kerosene (RP-1, it is cheaper but less explosion hazardous fuel, which is a highly pure form of kerosene) as its fuel and liquid oxygen as an oxidizer.  In 2007,...

Theranos: A Complete Story - Science Feed

Theranos, the blood testing startup founded by Elizabeth Holmes that pulled off the biggest scam ever happened in the Silicon Valley. From 2003 to 2008 this company grew spectacularly, but as we all know whenever someone tries to have everything in the world someone else is waiting for them to grab them down to nothing just like what happened to Stratton Oakmont and it's very CEO Jordan Belfort . Stratton Oakmont was the biggest Wall Street firm till 1999 when Belfort accused of money laundering, stock market manipulation and fined for 190 million dollars. The same goes for Theranos, so lets begin from the beginning and see what was Theranos hiding in their vault. Elizabeth Holmes dropped out of Stanford at the age of 19 to start Theranos, which was then called Real-Time Cures. She was inspired both by her grandfather's medical career, and her summer 2003 internship at the Genome Institute of Singapore. Briefly after the internship she wrote up a patent application f...
