Strange Matter - Is it a problem ? - Science Feed

Neutron star jets shoot down theory

Hii, This is Science Feed.

Have you ever heard about strange matter ??
.
.
.
.
.
If no, then this line is for you ;)

"Strange Matter is a hypothetical form of quark matter which is more stable than nuclear matter."

There is a reason for saying it strange.
It is predicted that strange matter is found in the core of the neutron star. Neutron stars are one of the densest bodies in the universe. When a star, having 8 times the mass of its initial mass, gets exhausted all its nuclear fuel, then the star starts collapsing in its own core and temperature exceeds. As temperature rises, electrons and protons start forming neutrons by the electron capture process. Slowly, the repulsion force and neutron pressure stop the contraction of the core but start moving outwards leading to the formation of a supernova. Inside supernova, if the left core has 3 times less than the mass of the initial star, it becomes a neutron star. Otherwise, it becomes a black hole.
Now, inside the core of the neutron star, the density is beyond the critical limit due to which protons and neutrons break up into their native quarks. the final matter is hypothesized as strange matter,
So, According to the prediction, its inside neutron star.
But, Why Strange matter is problems for us?
Even after no singe proof, Strange matter is a problem.

Signals from a spectacular neutron star merger that made ...

Here is why.
Stranger matter has a bizarre property. It is so much stable that it can convert any nuclear matter in strange one. Even a small strangelet is able to destroy our whole planet in a small interval of time (as prediction). Neutron stars have strange matter in is core. Maybe two colliding neutron stars eject out strangelets, which will reach our planet from a distant part of our galaxy.
Currently, researches are going on quarks which may reveal more secrets about strange matter.

Some scientists also believe that one day we will be able to harness the life-saving energy from this weird state of matter. The strange matter may become our future source of energy.
But, we cannot say what will happen in the future.

Batteries that are better than Lithium-ion batteries - Science Feed

Hello, This is your Science Feed. As we know Lithium is used in most of our electrical equipment, mostly in our smartphones. But, these batteries have their own limitations which are annoying. The biggest reason is that Lithium-ion batteries explode vigorously. Another reason to replace Lithium-ion batteries is their short life and low charge-storing capacity. Today, We will check out those batteries which are better than our Lithium-ion batteries. Here we go; Sodium-Ion Batteries               These batteries are quite similar to Lithium-ion batteries because sodium ions are used instead of lithium ions as the charge carrier. The development of both types of batteries started side-by-side but lithium-ion batteries over took sodium one. There are lots of advantages of using sodium-ion batteries over lithium-ion batteries. First of all, Sodium is the sixth most abundant element on Earth. So, no problem with its availability. In terms...

Will You Inject Yourself with an Ancient Bacteria for Longer Life ? - Science Feed

Hii, This is Science Feed. In 2009, 3.5 million years old bacteria was found in the permafrost region on Mammoth Mountain in Siberia's Yakutsk Region. The bacteria was named 'Bacillus F' which was found by the Russian Scientist named Anatoli Brouchkov, head of the Geocryology Department at Moscow State University. After numbers of experiments, it was found that those mice which were injected with these bacterias have far better strength and immune system than normal mice. Each time the experiment was done, the results were the same. Curiously, One day Dr. Brouchkov injected himself with these 3.5 million old bacteria without knowing what would happen to his body. The problem was that scientists didn't know how the bacteria increase life span in mice. And about humans, not even a penny !!! He became the first guinea pig for the experiment In a statement, Dr. Brouchkov said that since the day he injected himself with, he felt more energetic and healthier. He eve...

Falcon 9 (SpaceX) - Science Feed

Hey, this is Science Feed, and this post is about Falcon 9, one of the most advanced rockets in the world. Before we get started, we request you subscribe to our blog so that you never miss our informative posts. We also recommend you follow us on these social media platforms. Facebook         Twitter          Reddit          Pinterest         Instagram Falcon 9 is the first reusable orbital-class rocket that can be used more than once. SpaceX has designed and developed it for payload transfer to Earth orbit and space. Over the time period of 10 years, Falcon 9 has been launched 85 times, in which 46 launches were able to land. Due to its capability of landing, SpaceX has saved costly parts of the rocket. This rocket uses rocket grade kerosene (RP-1, it is cheaper but less explosion hazardous fuel, which is a highly pure form of kerosene) as its fuel and liquid oxygen as an oxidizer.  In 2007,...
